Waterjet cutting
Cutting materials with water to an amazing technology in which the working medium is only water and abrasive.
How does it work?
The water jet is ejected by a properly constructed head under very high pressure on the workpiece. A small hole in the head and high pressure create energy that allows cutting almost any material. The water additionally contains abrasive, which significantly improves the processing speed. The head movement is controlled digitally, which makes the machining very precise.
Our device has five axes of freedom, which means we can cut the cutting edges to 45 degrees.
When to choose a waterjet cutting?
Water cutting technology is used by manufacturing companies to build machine and equipment elements, also construction companies use water-stone cutting or glaze cutting with unprecedented precision. Furniture companies are discovering the advantages of cutting water at high speed in foams, wood-based boards and plastics.
Benefits
The water jet has such a high pressure that no water remains on soft materials, with harder materials the edges do not heat up without causing distortion of the material.
Water treatment is a cheap, fast and clean way to get almost any shape.
